The fruit cakes are made to order, there is such a variety of shapes and
sizes, that we are able to satisfy all tastes. These are made with no peel
but, if you wish the addition of peel you only need to ask.
The designs are varied, and we have a full portfolio of designs available to
suit all requests.
All traditional designs can be made in Sugar paste or in Royal Icing.
You may wish to choose a chocolate cake for your wedding. These cakes
are well tested and very popular. Not only do they look good, they taste
gorgeous too, so we have been told on many occasions.
The great thing about chocolate sponge is that it can be made to look
quite traditional with that little extra surprise when you cut into the cake.
As a rule we would usually include some spirit or liquor into the sponge for that really unique flavour and texture.
Chocolate is not the only alternative, you may have almost any cake
you wish on your day. You may try Banana Cake, Carrot cake,
Sachertortes, lemon drizzle or vanilla. If you have any other favourites
just ask. All these are heavenly alternatives for people who do not wish
to have fruit.
